Total with tax
$107.25
Enter the combined rate for your location: the state rate plus county and city rates. Five states have no statewide sales tax: Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire and Oregon.
Total with tax
Multiply the price by the combined sales tax rate: $100 at 7.25% is $7.25 of tax, $107.25 in total. To find the price before tax, divide the total by 1 + the rate.
Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire and Oregon have no statewide sales tax, although some Alaska localities charge one.
Counties, cities and special districts add their own rates on top of the state rate. Your combined rate depends on the exact address of the sale.
